Akame walks away — the last of Night Raid. The revolution succeeded. She is the only one left to know it.

  • The series commits fully to the cost of revolution — characters are not saved by plot armour, and every death lands because the writing earns them first
  • Murasame is the perfect Teigu for her: the most lethal weapon in the story wielded by the person least able to stop feeling what she does with it
  • The Esdeath arc is one of the best villain portraits in action manga — a woman who mistakes absolute power for the right to love on her own terms, and never understands why that fails
